What do you do at Match?
I lead the Talent Acquisition Department, We pride ourselves on finding the right diversified talent to propel Match and our clients; by being an employer of choice.

What do you like the most about Match?
Our PEOPLE! We’re dedicated and inspired by what we do, we have fun building and pushing forward as well as constantly improving ourselves along the way. Every day, it’s the people that makes me want to be there and commit to the organization.

Tips for anyone looking to get into your line of work?
It’s rare that people plan a career in Talent Acquisition, perhaps because it’s often considered entry level or simple. Talent Acquisition however can be very complex and challenging, offer great career opportunities and develop a strong understanding of what makes companies successful today, People. Joining a recruitment team offers great opportunities to network and understand the needs of the business.

What do you do at Match Retail?
I am a District Manager supporting our outstanding field team with WOW! mobile. I work with them in delivering our brand promise of Personalized, Unbiased Advice to customers as we continue to work towards our goal of being the #1 Wireless Retailer in Canada!

What do you like the most about working at Match Retail?
Ever since I had the first opportunity to contribute ideas and feedback to the company, as a Store Manager, it has never once fallen on deaf ears. Over the years we have evolved in countless ways, each time progressing to become more efficient and effective as a retailer. I’ve been with Match for 5 1/2 years and I’m extremely proud of how far we’ve come and the future ahead.

Tips for anyone looking to get into your line of work?
Stay Focused, Stay Disciplined and never go a day without seeking to learn something new. Seek out a mentor and ask a ton of questions – the only “stupid question” is the one you do not ask.

What do you do at Match Retail?
As the Director of Client Services for our Nespresso business. I oversee a team of sales managers and coffee advisors that help consumers find the right Nespresso machine for them. Our team visits different retail locations across Canada to offer a turnkey solution for consumers from understanding their needs to placing their first coffee orders with them, they do it all.

What do you like the most about working at Match Retail?
The people! I feel that they make or break experiences at work. I am very lucky to have developed great trusted relationships with my clients and internal partners giving me the chance to have flexibility and agility in moving the business forward.

Tips for anyone looking to get into your line of work?
It’s a small world… network with people, keep in touch with school or work colleagues and finally, always give the very best of what you have to offer as you never know when or where you’ll cross paths with these people again!
