In General – Most of the information we collect about individuals is in connection with our promotional events.  If you register for an event with MatchMG, we may collect information that can identify you, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address (“personal information”), as well as other information that does not identify you. Technical Information through your Device

This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. The servers on which this Site is hosted gather certain information about how you access the Site in several ways. This information is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. This information may include your computer’s media access control (“MAC”) address, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, operating system, and web browser type, as well as the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) of the website that you just came from and the URL of the website you go to next.

This Site and Third Party Sites may also make use of pixel tags, temporary or “session” cookies, and similar technologies in order to enable the basic functionality of the sites, facilitate users’ access to and use of the sites, and count which pages of the sites have been visited and help determine the effectiveness of Site content. Third-party links may appear on the sites and, if so, those third-parties may set and access cookies on your computer. Those organizations will have their own privacy policies that govern their use of any personally identifiable information.  If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to automatically decline cookies, or to be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer of a particular cookie, or cookies from a particular website, to your computer. However, this Site may not function for you as intended without cookies.

Information collected by third-parties for advertising purposes.

We may allow service providers, advertising companies and ad networks, and other third parties to display advertisements on our Service. These companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies or web beacons, to collect information about users who view or interact with their advertisements. We do not provide any non-anonymized personal information to third parties. Some of these third-party advertising companies may be advertising networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative, which offers a single location to opt out of ad targeting from member companies (www.networkadvertising.org). Opting out will not decrease the number of advertisements you see.

On our Site, you may be presented with links to access third-party websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy.  For example, if you click on a sponsor’s logo on the Site, you may be taken to a website that we do not control.  These third-party websites may independently solicit and collect information, including personal information, from you and, in some instances, provide us with information about the activities on those websites.  We recommend that you consult the Privacy Policies of all third-party websites you visit by clicking the “Privacy” link typically located at the footer of the website you are visiting.

Your personal information rights

We take reasonable steps to help ensure that the personal information we collect from you is accurate, complete and current. In addition to accessing your personal information through the app or website, you may also request access to your personal information, request that erroneous or inaccurate personal information be updated, or (in certain circumstances) request deletion of your personal information, by contacting us via toll-free telephone number (see below), via email at DataCompliance@matchmg.com or by writing us at the mailing address listed below. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

In the event that you request deletion of your data, we will retain the deletion request and may retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our service or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law.  In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties (excluding processors) as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information may be subject to those third parties’ policies.

We will respond promptly to your requests in accordance with applicable law and will try to respond to all legitimate requests within 45 days. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal information associated with the email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We may decline to process requests that jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or would cause us to take any action that is not permissible under applicable laws. Additionally, as permitted by applicable laws, we may need to retain certain personal information for a longer period for recordkeeping purposes, such as retaining records relating to your purchases for warranty or accounting purposes.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our Site because such information may be required in order for you to register as a user, purchase products or services, participate in a contest, promotion, survey, or sweepstakes, ask a question, or initiate other transactions.

To verify a consumer request, consumers will be asked to provide:

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, you have the right under the California “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civil Code § 1798.83) to request, by regular or electronic mail, a list of the categories of personal information that were shared by MatchMG with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, the names and addresses of those third parties, and if the nature of their business cannot reasonably be determined from their name, examples of the products and services marketed by them. To make such a request, please send an email to or write us at the mailing address listed below.

Do Not Track Disclosure

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers.  DNT is a way for users to inform websites and services that they do not want certain information about their website visits collected over time and across websites or online services.  We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information we collect; however, we do not currently recognize or respond to DNT signals, as the Internet industry works toward defining exactly what DNT will mean, what it means to comply with DNT, and a common approach to responding to DNT signals.

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy.  When we post changes to the Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.  We commend that you check our Site from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this Privacy Policy or any of our other policies.
